Typical of the province of Naples, this legume has come down to us following the voyages of explorers after the discovery of America and since then has created a very close relationship with the Neapolitan area where few still manage to guarantee its presence. Sowing is done entirely by hand. Harvesting is followed by shelling and sorting by hand, drying in the sun and packaging. Every step is still carried out as in the past, with the tenacity of someone who has a deep connection with the land and respects its timing and fruits.
